Marlene D. Wilson, 77, died January 4, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born December 18, 1932, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Olga Gultzow Bahns.
She graduated from Davenport Central High School and later worked in the accounting department as a supervisor in bank reconcilement with the Deere and Company in Moline, Illinois. She was a member of the Corporation of Deere Retired Employees. Marlene was a former resident of Milan and Taylor Ridge, Illinois, moving to Hutchinson in 2007.
On July 31, 1954, she married Richard C. Wilson in Davenport, Iowa. He died March 2, 1998.
Survivors include: two sons, Tad Wilson, of Hutchinson, and Todd Wilson and wife Lori, of Atlanta, Ga.; four granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Wilson, of Eerie, Illinois, and Sydney Beck and Marlayna Wilson, of Atlanta, Ga.; and a sister-in-law, Shirl Bahns, of Prescott Valley, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Bahns, and a brother, Gerald Bahns.
Funeral will be Friday, February 12, 2010, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, at 201 East 4 Avenue, Milan, Illinois, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.
