Martha Ann Hunter Stiles, 82, died Thursday, November 16, 2017.  She was born June 18, 1935, in Storm Lake, Iowa to Myron and Elizabeth (Ludy) Hunter.

She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1952 and attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.  On March 31, 1956, she married Donald M. Stiles, Jr., who was stationed in Lincoln with the United States Air Force.  Don preceded her in death in 2006.  In the early years of their marriage, they lived in Hondo, Texas and Tampa, Florida before moving to Hutchinson, where she lived the rest of her life.

In addition to being a wife and mother of three, she was a member of the USD 308 School Board from 1973-77, serving as President from 1976-77.  Subsequently, she worked as a broker and realtor for Don M. Stiles & Sons for over 20 years.

Martha is survived by:  her son, Donald M. (Mark) Stiles III, of Kansas City, Missouri; daughters, Cynthia Stiles (Eric Kaldjian) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Jennifer Stiles O'Connor (Kevin O'Connor) of Wichita; grandchildren, Tyler Brandon, Emily Kaldjian, Benjamin Kaldjian, Alexander Kaldjian, Jameson O'Connor, Quinn O'Connor, Hunter O'Connor, and Blayne O'Connor; and sisters, Elizabeth Hoft of Huntsville, Alabama and Mary Youngblood of Royal Oak, Michigan.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dawn Flippin officiating.  Private family inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Friends may sign the book from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.  Memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Community Foundation: Martha A. and Donald M.
