Martha Dorene Morgan, 80, of Hutchinson, died May 20, 2018, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born August 20, 1937, in Hutchinson, to Luke and Eva (McQueen) Leffel.

Dorene was a homemaker and loved to do crafts of all kinds and attend garage sales. She was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene and loved spending time with her church group, ETS (Eat, Travel, Shop).

On January 1, 1998, Dorene married Jack Morgan in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: son, Dan Mathis (Pam); daughter, Cindy Estes (Mark), all of Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Gene Mathis and Harold 'Gene' Bybee; son, Ken Mathis; and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at New Life Church of the Nazarene, 200 E. Campbell, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary Worthington officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
