Martin Blaine Sander, 56, died Nov. 4, 2015, in Cancun, Mexico. He was born April 18, 1959, in Hays, to Alvin P. and Bonnie I. (Irwin) Sander.

Marty graduated from Victoria High School in 1977. He was a contractor for Mayfield and Sons. Marty was a member of Church of the Holy Cross.

On July 15, 1978, he married Saundra May Dreher in Hays. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Irwin Sander and wife Nicole of Hutchinson, and Joshua Sander of Hutchinson; three granddaughters, McKenzie Brummitt of Overland Park, Elicea and Hadley Sander of Hutchinson; a grandson, Preston Sander of Hutchinson; two sisters, Gladys Swindler and husband Bob of Ellis, Patty Billinger and husband Kenny of Overland Park; two brothers, Brad Sander and wife Alice of Murdock, Darrell Sander and wife Juanita of Gorham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marty was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother, Irwin Sander; and a nephew, Blaine Billinger.

Parish Rosary will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at Church of the Holy Cross, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1 p.m. with Father Roger Lumbre officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
