Marvin Ray Johns, 50, died June 19, 2015, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. He was born November 17, 1964, to Blackie and Dorothy (Keffer) Johns, in Hutchinson.
Marvin attended North Reno Grade School and Pretty Prairie High School. He was a self-employed mechanic, painter, and sandblaster and loved to fish.
Survivors include: twin daughters, Lindsey Johns and Lacey Dickson, Hutchinson, and Julie Thatcher, Wichita; grandchildren, Rylei, Noah, and Atreya Johns, Aiden and McKenzie Dickson, Gavin, Garrett, and Brooklyn Gardiner; his parents; sisters, Julie Adamek, Jacksonville, FL and Susan Magby, Pretty Prairie; brother, Brent Johns, Wichita; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbie Bakker; his grandparents; and cousins, Wayne Johns and Ron Keffer.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, with Pastor Harold E. Nelson officiating.
