Mary Ann Arnett, 38, passed away. She was born July 4, 1976, in Hutchinson, to Barry B. and Mary Margaret (Trotter) Arnett.

Mary Ann attended Grandview Middle School and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1995. She worked as a swing manager at McDonalds on 11th Ave, as a cook on Sunday mornings at Firehouse Café, Burger King and the Rusty Needle Café. Mary Ann loved spending time with children and making jewelry. She volunteered many hours at the Salvation Army's Food Bank and Salvation Army's Thrift Shop. Mary Ann played softball and loved helping children play softball with the REC summer league.

Mary Ann is survived by: mother, Mary Margaret Arnett of Hutchinson; brother, Robert B. Arnett and wife Jocleyan of Enid, Okla.; sister, Amy Nola Heath and husband Michale of Hutchinson; nieces and nephews, Tommy W. LaMunyon of Hutchinson, Brandi LaMunyon of Pratt, Corey A. Sherman of Hutchinson, Ella Rose C. Arnett of Enid, Okla.; aunts, Patricia Teel, and Anita P. Gordee and husband Jim, all of Great Bend; and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at Hutchinson Wesleyan Church, 528 W. 10th Ave, with Pastor Nick Huck officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Mary Ann Arnett Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
