Mary Ellen Culbert, 91, of Hutchinson, died March 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born in Hutchinson, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Borntrager Headings.

She was a member of Victorious Life Church.

Mary Ellen is survived by three children, Daryl Gene Stewart and wife Karen of Laguna Beach, Calif., daughter, Donna Rogan and husband Mike of Helena, Mont. and Robert Culbert and wife Kathy of Hutchinson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Noah and William Headings, and sister, Martha Carr.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Reverend James Francis presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.

Friends may call today from 12 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
