Mary F. Fuchs' Obituary
Mary F. Fuchs, 78, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 16, 1939, in McPherson, to Edwin and Emma (Buellesfeld) Shannon.
Mary graduated from Blackwell High School in Oklahoma. She retired from Dillons Bakery, where she had been an award-winning cake decorator for many years. She married Manfred 'Fred' Fuchs in Hutchinson. They shared 52 years of marriage.
Mary is survived by: husband, Manfred 'Fred' Fuchs; her beloved dogs; sisters, Virginia Hutton and husband Bob, Jane Dalton and husband Gary; brothers, Max Stuever and wife Shirley, Joe Stuever; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: father, Edwin Shannon; mother, Emma (Buellesfeld) Shannon; stepfather, John Stuever; brother, Robert Shannon; and sister-in-law, Marion Shannon.
A private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Kansas Humane Society, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
