Mary Lou Haag, 73, died Dec. 2, 2008, at the Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Dec. 31, 1934, in Larned, the daughter of Ermon D. and Sarah Juanita Keasling Haag.
She had been a resident of Hutchinson since 1948. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1954. She was a caregiver for many families in Hutchinson.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, where she worked in the reading room for many years. She also delivered Friendship meals for the Salvation Army.
Survivors include: brothers, Ronald G. and wife Milbry Haag, Hutchinson, and Harlan D. and wife Judy Haag, Pomona, Calif.; nephews, Dennis, Tony, Lloyd, Tim and John Haag; niece, Kerri Pellecchia; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sharon Haag.
Funeral service 2 p.m. today at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Reader Daniel A. Dyck officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers in care of the mortuary.
