Mary Alice Hall, 73, died September 3, 2016, at Thorne Care, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson. She was born March 20, 1943, in Wichita, to Robert L. and Berniece (Culver) DeWitt.
In 1961, she graduated from East High School in Wichita. She was a clerk for T&E Oil and retired in 2008 from Cancer Council of Reno County, as a secretary.
On Aug. 18, 1962, she married Donald Eugene Hall in Wichita. He died May 20, 2011.
Survivors include: children, Diana Lambert and husband Cavin of Hutchinson, Russell Hall and wife Sandra of McPherson; grandchildren, Michelle Parrish and husband Jason of Denver, Colo., Brody Kappel of McPherson, Derek Hall of Wichita; mother, Berniece DeWitt of Wichita; sisters, Debra Conrady and husband Alan of Wichita, Kathy Lenhart and husband Donald of Wichita; brother, Robert "Bob" DeWitt and wife Diana of Goddard. Mary was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter, Erika Hall.
Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be in Winfield Veterans' Cemetery, Winfield, on Sept. 16, 2016. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Andy Addis presiding. Friends may sign the memorial book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
