Mary Estella Lightner's Obituary
Mary Estella Lightner, 65, died Nov. 8, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 16, 1944, in Rockford, Ill., to Carl and Nina Humphry Rosenkrans.
She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
On May 12, 1963 she married Lloyd Lightner in Hutchinson. He died Nov. 30, 2001.
Survivors include: two sons, Kevin and David Lightner, Hutchinson; daughter, Lesli Lightner, Honesdale, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with the Rev. William J. Green, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association, in care of the mortuary.
