PARTRIDGE - Mary Martha Miller, 88, went to be with the Lord Aug. 19, 2007, at her home.
She was born April 10, 1919, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Abraham F. and Sarah Miller Nisly. She attended East Eureka Country School in Reno County. A resident of Partridge, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to the Center Amish Mennonite Church. She was a lady of great gratitude and faith. She loved to cook for her family and friends.
On Dec. 18, 1941, she married Ervin J. Miller in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: five sons, Glenn and wife, Anna, Hutchinson, Harold Dean and wife, Ruth, Honey Grove, Pa., LaVerne and wife, Rebecca, Partridge, Marvin and wife, Ruth, Suceava, Romania, and Loren and wife, Dolores, Canon City, Colo.; two daughters, Alma Miller and husband, Edward, Partridge, and Lillian Nisly and husband, Arthur, San Salvador, El Salvador; a brother, Paul Nisly, Grantham, Pa.; three sisters, Dorothy Beachy, Hutchinson, Viola Miller, Flint, Mich., and Esther Nisly, Abbyville; 46 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Paul Jay Miller; an infant daughter, Pauline May Miller; a brother, Ora Nisly; and two sisters, Matilda Nisly and Alma Wagler.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Center Amish Mennonite Church, with David L. Miller, Samuel Nisly, Paul W. Nisly and Gary Miller presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Center Amish Mennonite Church. Burial will be in West Center Cemetery, near Partridge.
