Mary Lou Mueller, 80, died May 25, 2012, at Hospice House. She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Branson, Mo., the daughter of Samuel Edward and Lillian (Menefee) Branson.
Mary Lou was a homemaker and had worked as a sales clerk for Sweet Briar, Meschke's and Bloskey's. She attended Full Gospel Chapel of Prayer.
On Feb. 14, 1974, she married Jerry Lee Mueller in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: a daughter, Connie Barnes, and son, George Dean Barnes, both of Hutchinson; three stepdaughters, Christine G. Robinson, Cindy La Porta and Sandy Mueller, all of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Charles Branson of Rockaway Beach, Mo., and James Branson of Stockton, Calif.; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Barnes.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Stokely and Tammy Hittenberger presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
