SOUTH HUTCHINSON - Mary Nisly, 86, died June 26, 2006, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born July 10, 1919, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Samuel A. and Delila Beiler Nisly. A lifetime Hutchinson area resident, she lived in South Hutchinson. She was a retired nurse's aid, working 24 years at the former Grace Hospital and Hutchinson Hospital, then 18 years at the Mennonite Friendship Manor, South Hutchinson.
She belonged to Center Amish Mennonite Church.
Survivors include: three brothers, Melvin, Menno and John Nisly, all of Hutchinson; three sisters, Amanda Yoder, Emma Stutzman and Katie Helmuth, all of Hutchinson; and a sister-in-law, Ellen Nisly, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jonas Nisly; a sister, Rebecca Nisly; and her parents.
Memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mennonite Manor Chapel, with Chaplain Daniel Nisly presiding. Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Center Amish Mennonite Church, 7611 West Morgan with Pastors David Yoder and David L. Miller presiding. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Center Amish Mennonite Church. Burial will be in West Center Cemetery.
