Mary Frances Painter's Obituary
Mary Frances Painter, 85, died April 30, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Homer F. and Jesse Pearl Wells Collins.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1943 and attended Hutchinson JUCO. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker. Mary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
On June 16, 1945, she married Harold A. "Sonny" Painter in Hutchinson. He died June 12, 1986.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mary L. Bachand and husband John, Hutchinson; two granddaughters, Lauren A. Garwood and husband Jason, Olathe, and Camille A. Bachand and husband Clark Walter, Los Angeles, Calif.; a grandson, Joseph J. Bachand, Hutchinson; and a great-grandson, Kolton E. Garwood.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Rev. Jim Rhaesa presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Trinity United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
