Obituary

Mary J. Sader, 71, of Hutchinson, died January 13, 2010 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born November 26, 1938 in Scott City, the daughter of George & Helen Dinkle Crowl. She graduated from Scott City High School in 1956. She moved to Hutchinson in 1990 with her family from Garden City. Mrs. Sader was a member of the Church of The Holy Cross in Hutchinson. She was a homemaker.

On June 4, 1956, she married Charles A. Sader in Scott City. He survives. Other survivors include 2 sons Greg Sader, and his wife Sherri, Colorado Springs, and David Sader, Hutchinson; 2 daughters Deborah Pittman, and husband Byron, Garden City, and Pam Jantz, Hutchinson; a sister Sandra Gerstner, Scott City; 10 Grandchildren Joshua, Kimberly, Mark, and Anthony Sader, Matthew Naab, Jessica Freeland, Bryan and Timothy Vanderweide, Steven and Zachary Jantz; 5 Great Grandchildren Nicholas and Madison Freeland, Cody, Alexis, and Dominic Sader. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 18 at Church of The Holy Cross in Hutchinson, with Fr. Joseph Eckberg presiding. A parish rosary will be recited prior to the Mass on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19 at Scott Co. Cemetery in Scott City. Friends may sign the register book at Elliott Mortuary on Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-9:00 pm. The casket will remain closed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Homecare of Reno County, sent in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, Ks. 67502.
