Mary Naomi Wyer, 97, died May 19, 2006, at Creekside Nursing Home, Plano, Texas.
She was born Oct. 16, 1908, in Sylvia, the daughter of George and Clara Yust Snowbarger. A resident of Plano, Texas, formerly a longtime Hut-chinson resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts.
On Aug. 10, 1927, she married Ansel A. Wyer in Sylvia. He died April 15, 1985.
Survivors include: a daughter, Ann Oyler and husband, Mylo, Plano, Texas; a brother, Everett Snowbarger, Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Cynthia Riley and husband, John Hale, Plano, Texas, Robert Riley, Hutchinson, and Patricia Davis and husband, John, Redmond, Wash.; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Hale, Plano, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Snowbarger; and two sisters, Laurene Thompson and Ethel Melville.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday June 3, 2006, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Nick Warner presiding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or Trinity United Methodist Church, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
