Mary Edna Yoder, 93, died April 11, 2024, at her home.  She was born August 17, 1930, in LaGrange, IN, to Albert M. Yoder and Saloma (Troyer) Yoder.

Mary was a homemaker.  She was a member of Cedar Crest Amish Mennonite Church, Partridge, KS.

On January 20, 1955, Mary married Fred H. Yoder, in Hutchinson, KS.  They shared over 49 years of marriage, prior to his death on March 24, 2004.

Mary is survived by:  her children, Harry F. (Susan) Yoder, Susan Kay (Richard) Yoder, Wayne F. (Michelle) Yoder, Wilbur Lee Yoder, Willard Dee (Gertie) Yoder, Ruth Anne (Keith) Hershberger, Calvin Jay (Rebecca) Yoder, and David Leon (Renita) Yoder; 30 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband; and siblings, Melvin Yoder, Mervin Yoder, Mae Yoder, Harry Yoder, Cathryn Miller, and Thomas Yoder.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Cedar Crest Amish Mennonite Church, 7213 W. Mills Avenue, Partridge, KS.  Burial will follow in the West Center Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, with the family present at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to SHARE Haiti, in care of Cedar Crest Amish Mennonite Church, 7213 W. Mills Avenue, Partridge, KS 67568.  Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501, is in charge of the arrangements.
