Mason William Hitchcock, 27, went peacefully home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 26, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 14, 1985, in Hutchinson, the son of Hayden M. and Karen A. (Weesner) Hitchcock.

Mason was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. He worked as a CNA for a time in Kansas City and then at Mennonite Manor and Golden Plains Nursing Homes and attended Victorious Life Church and First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his parents, Hayden and Karen Hitchcock of Hutchinson; two brothers, Ryan Rank and wife Sherry of Hutchinson, Austin Hitchcock and wife Nichole of Ottawa; an aunt, Holly Gourley and husband Cameron of Wichita; three uncles, Bill Weesner and wife Connie of Hutchinson, Chuck Weesner and wife Bev of Sylvia, and James Weesner and wife Tina of Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Victorious Life Church, 1200 E 10th, with Reverend James Francis presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
