HUTCHINSON - Matthew Don Brown, 30, of Hutchinson, died March 23, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson.
He was born Jan. 20, 1980, in Ranger, TX, the son of Anthony "Tony" and Cindy Yeats Brown.
He was a foreman and lineman for Bird Electric, Eastland, TX. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Okemah, Oklahoma. He graduated from Cisco (TX) High School in the Class of 1998.
He married Lisa Wilson on Dec. 26, 2007, in Okemah, Okla. She survives.
Other survivors include: daughters, Maize Brown and Dixie Rayanna Brown, of the home; his father, Anthony "Tony" Brown, Okemah, Okla.; his mother, Cindy Yeats, Cisco, TX; step-father, Rip Burch and wife Moe, Jeddo, Mich.; brothers, Anthony D. "Bone" Brown, Okemah, Okla., Nick Hitt, Breckenridge, TX, and Kory Burch, Ft.Gratiot, Mich.; step-brother, Colton Burch, Jeddo, Mich.; sisters, Natosha Hitt, Cisco, TX, and Jessica L. Merry, Mike, Mo.; step-sister, Brandi Burch, Jeddo, Mich.; grandparents, Terry "Pops" and Dixie "Ma" Haws, Cisco, TX; grandmother, Wanda "Nanny" Brown, Sherman, TX; Grandma Burch, Jeddo, Mich. He was preceded in death by a brother, Grant Burch; his grandfather, Uriel "Brownie" Brown; grandfather, Skip Burch; and great grandmother, Jessie Hammer.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at East Cisco Baptist Church in Cisco, TX. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Maize & Dixie Rayanna Brown Educational Fund, sent in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kan. 67502. Texas arrangements with Kimbrough Funeral Home, Cisco, TX.
