Obituary

Matthew Charles-Hunter McCue, 20, of Hutchinson, died Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis. He was born July 30, 1998, in Hutchinson, to Janet McCue.

He loved being an Eagle Scout for Boy Scout Troop 7306. Matthew also enjoyed art and singing in choir. He was involved in Envision and participated in walks for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Matthew was a member of Sons of the American Legion and Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Matthew is survived by: mother, Janet McCue of Hutchinson; sisters, Heather Wingrove of Copperas Cove, TX, Janelle Jackson and husband Joshua of Elkhart, and Kelly Najjar and husband Rami of Denville, NJ; grandma, Carolyn Conrad of Hutchinson; grandpa, Michael McCue and wife Connie of McPherson; three nephews; seven nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his grandpa, Woodrow Conrad, and great-grandparents.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 140 E. 30th Ave., with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Burial Park.
