Maudie M. McDaniel, 92, passed away on April 2, 2015, at Wesley Towers Thorne Care, Hutchinson. She was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Bay City, Mich., to Alda and Violet (Hennard) Dorian. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother.

Maudie married Robert C. McDaniel on July 24, 1963, in Sandusky, Mich. He survives.

Other survivors include: son, Richard Bolman and wife Jackie; daughters, Ruthann Harris, and Roberta Black; grandchildren, Danielle Bolman, Michael Harris, Scott Bolman, Mathew Harris, and Hunter Black; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie McGillan, Edabelle Dubay, and brothers, Johnny Dorian, Earl Dorian, and Denver Dorian.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Father Stuart Smeltzer officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wesley Towers Good Samaritan Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, 67501.
