Mauritta Reed-Anderson, 100, died June 30, 2023, at Thorne Care Center. She was born October 11, 1922, in Jetmore, to James P. and Lillie M. (Halley) Riley.

Mauritta had 5 children. Surviving are: daughters, Mavis Reed-Butters, Sandra Reed, both of Hutchinson; son, Jim Reed of Florida; and sister, Patricia Riley of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and David Reed.

Per Mauritta's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
