She moved from Mississippi to Hutchinson in 2009, and then to Pleasant View Home in Inman.

Survivors include: daughter, Debra Brown and husband Steve, Hutchinson; son, Carl Watkins and wife Vicki, Mississippi; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a son-in-law, Harold Wilson; a sister, Helen Clanton, Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Barbara Wilson, three brothers, and five sisters.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
