Maxine E. Marsh, 91, died Aug. 23, 2011, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson. She was born May 9, 1920, in McPherson, to Leon Stanley and Myrtle Irene Suttergran Lloyd. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School. She was a retired cook at Hadley Day Care Center, a member of First United Methodist Church, and VFW Auxiliary.
She was married to Milton Montandon, Robert Barr, Morrow Hecht and Wilbur Marsh, all preceded her in death. Survivors include: sons, Ron and Shirley Montandon and Larry and Lynn Montandon, all of Hutchinson; a daughter, Joyce Allen, Canyon Lake, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Geneva Broker and Dorothy Turley.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Conard officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to VFW Auxiliary, in care of the mortuary.
