Maxine F. "Mickey" Proesch, 91, died Aug. 4, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 20, 1919, in Hutchinson, to Jacob and May Frederick. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church, Great Bend.

On Sept. 21, 1941, she married Melvin Proesch. He died Aug. 3, 1987. Survivors include: daughters, Carol (Doug) Smiley, Siloam Springs, Ark. and Kathy (Jerry) Hendershot, Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Mennonite Manor Chapel, South Hutchinson, with Chaplin Todd Schlosser officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
