OVERLAND PARK – Melissa Ann "Missy" Moses, 33, died Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born June 30, 1982, the daughter of H. Boyce and Pamela J. (Richard) Moses.

She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2000, Hutchinson Community College in 2002, and Ft. Hays State University in 2004. Melissa was a member of Park Place Christian Church Disciples of Christ and was an implementation specialist for UPS. Missy's life was a devotion to her family and friends.

She is survived by: her partner, Elizabeth Melton-Moses of Kansas City, Mo.; her parents; and sister, Marie Moses and husband Chris Avery, all of Hutchinson; grandmother, Leta Moses of Colby; aunts and uncles, Linda Moses of McCook, Neb., Mike and Cindy Moses of Colby, Paul and Cathy Breeden of Quinter, Ken and Michelle Moses of Atwood, Brent Richard of Tuscon, Ariz., Brad Richard of St. Francis, Mark and Geneva Richard of Macon, Mo., Dan and Pat Baalman of Colby, and Chris and Lisa Richard of Aurora, Colo.; and cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Leo and Jean Ann Richard, Emery Moses; an uncle, Rick Moses; and three cousins, Chase, Caitlin and Connor Moses.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Park Place Christian Church, 2600 N. Adams, Hutchinson, with Pastor Dave Dubovich presiding. Visitation will be after the memorial service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
