Melva P. Bornholdt, of Hutchinson, died September 14, 2018.
She was born June 26, 1926, in LeRoy, KS, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Chitwood) Rampenthal. Melva married William 'Bill' Bornholdt on January 23, 1945, in Newton. He died November 18, 2009.
Melva is survived by her sister, Joan Bontrager of South Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Bill; her children, Eric Boyd Bornholdt, Dr. Bret Alan Bornholdt, DVM, and Adele Bornholdt; her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
Private services have been held. Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
