Merlyn C. "Gus" Noble, 87, passed away March 21, 2025, in Buhler. .

He was a retired welder for Borton, Inc. Merlyn enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and attending auctions. He also found a lot of joy in spending time with his granddaughter and her family including attending his great-grandson's activities.

Merlyn is survived by: a son; two daughters; three grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 10, 2025, from 6 – 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson KS 67501. Friends may sign his book daily Monday through Saturday 9 – 5 pm and Sunday 1 – 5 pm through April 10, 2025. Private family services will be held. There will be a family gathering to honor Merlyn in South Dakota at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Buhler Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community or Belleview Lutheran Cemetery Association in Howard S.D, in care of, Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
