Merrill Blaine Davis, 84, passed away April 20, 2013, at Hospice House. He was born October 11, 1928, on a farm west of La Crosse, Kansas, the son of Walter and Olive Vera Davis.

He graduated from La Crosse High School in 1946. On May 2, 1948, he married Elsie Schraeder. She died in May 1987.

Merrill worked for Kingsley-Wagner in Hutchinson, retiring in 1993. Merrill married Susie Clarkson on June 10, 1993. She survives. Other survivors include: daughters, Marla Epps (John), and Diane Hopkins (Dan), all of Aurora, Colo.; stepson, Mike Clarkson (Tina), Stillwater, Minn.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two-step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Wagner, Rush Center, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Elton Davis, a stepdaughter, and a step-grandson.

Cremation will take place. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Jimie-Wray Mead presiding.

Memorials may be made to the Eastwood Church of Christ, or Hospice House, both in care of Elliott Mortuary.
