Michael David 'Dave' Stinson, 57, of Hutchinson, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born August 18, 1960, in Hutchinson, to Miles 'Mike' and Myrtice (Tuggle) Stinson.

Dave graduated from Haven High School in 1978. He was a truck driver for Tedder Trucking and attended CrossPoint Church. Dave loved to travel, never knew a stranger, and was a devoted son, brother, and friend.

Survivors include: mother, Myrtice Stinson of Hutchinson; and sisters, Debbie Downing (Gary) of South Hutchinson, Diane Stinson of Hutchinson, and Sheila Basham (Cleon) of Christiansburg, Virginia.

Dave was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017, at Journey@South Hutchinson, 808 S. Poplar, South Hutchinson, with Pastor Howard Wagler officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
