Michael "Mike" G. Stanley, 37, died May 11, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. He was born August 13, 1972 in McHenry, IL to Richard Lee and Carolyn Sue Koch Stanley.

A resident of Hutchinson for seven years, coming from Wichita, he was a hardwood floor installer for Neufeldt's in Buhler. Mike loved NASCAR and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. On Oct. 11, 2003 he married Shannon Jernigan in Wichita. She survives.

Other survivors include children: Zach, Wichita, Brooke of the home, Rochelle Jernigan, Wisconsin, Robert Jernigan, Hutchinson, Beth Archer, Hutchinson; father and stepmother: Richard & Mary Stanley, Tallahassee, FL; mother and stepfather: Carolyn Sue & David Vickers, Wichita; brother: Rick Stanley and wife Jennifer, Belle Plaine; stepbrother: Patrick Ellis, Calif; two stepsisters: Tamara Bailey, Wichita and Dawn Keller, Colo; grandmother: Betty Stickler, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and two dogs: Jake & Smudge.

Mike was preceded in death by grandparents: Donald Lee and Clara Louise Koch; mother-in-law: Rosalie Connolly; stepbrother: Shawn Ellis.

Memorial service will be 2:00 Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Elliott Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book from 9-9 Thursday and Friday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Mike Stanley Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
