BLACKWELL, Okla. – Michael J. "Mike" Stratford, 52, died Oct. 30, 2015, at Alliance Health Blackwell, in Blackwell, Okla. He was born Feb. 26, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Phillip "Phil" L. and Patricia "Pat" (Takach) Stratford.

Mike graduated from Derby High School. He was a maintenance supervisor for Dorada Foods in Ponca City, Okla.

Mike is survived by: his wife, Sherry Collins of Blackwell, Okla.; children, Josh, Amber and Shawnna; grandchildren, Josh Jr., Breonna, Janessa, Kyla, Deion, Gage, and Kingston; mother, Pat Stratford of Derby; sisters, Julie Atcherson (Gary) of Douglass, Linda Hall (Jaime) of Tyler, Texas, Nancy Stratford of Derby; and brother, Lee Stratford of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Phillip Stratford; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Elliott Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
