Michael Max McBride Sr., 69, died Dec. 7, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Jan. 8, 1946, in Great Bend, to Robert L. and Beverly J. (Edwards) McBride.

Michael was a member of Mt. Olivet Worship Center. He enjoyed collecting eagle memorabilia, fishing, and listening to country music.

On Feb. 26, 1973, he married Nancy K. Willmert in Rock Island, Illinois. They shared 42 years of marriage. Michael is survived by: his wife, Nancy, of the home; children, Michael James McBride of Utah, Tena Nelson of Hutchinson, Tammy McBride of Ohio, Michael McBride Jr., and Adam McBride; mother, Beverly Williams, all of Hutchinson; sisters, Nancy Pearl Borger of Hays, Dorothy Jane Brown, Kathryn Jones, Diana Zahn, Sharon Wehry, all of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father; and a daughter, Ruby Ann McBride.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastors Kenn and Luanne Haddaway officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today until service time.
