Mildred Louise Canfield, 91, died May 28, 2014, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 30, 1922, in Hutchinson, to Charles and Alice Wampler Cornwell.

She married Wilbur Carr Canfield Sr. in 1941, in Hutchinson, Kan. He died in November of 1949. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Babb and husband Mike of Wichita, Kan.; daughter-in-law, Anita Canfield of Hutchinson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Glover of Hutchinson; and a brother Phil Cornwell of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Wilbur Carr Canfield Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Wood, Ethel Newel, Thelma Ferguson, Della Glover; and a brother, Charles Cornwell.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Mike Babb presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
