Mildred L. "Millie" Ewing, 92, died March 9, 2008, at Hospice House.

She was born Jan. 23, 1916, in Taloga, Okla., the daughter of Miles E. and Clara Davis Heller. A longtime resident of Reno County, she was a homemaker.

On May 8, 1982, she married Clyde H. Ewing in Arlington. He died June 12, 2002.

Survivors include: a daughter, Wilma J. Ruebke, Hutchinson; a stepson, Steve Ewing, Corpus Christi, Texas; a stepdaughter, Beverly Johnson, Plevna; a sister, Maudie Densmore, Millington, Tenn.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Guy, Harry, Carroll and Albert Heller, and four sisters, Agnes Cramer, Alice Wilson, Dorothy McIver and Clarise Heller.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Arlington Cemetery, with Chaplain Mark K. Weins presiding. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
