Mildred R. "Millie" Rudd, 86, of Hutchinson, died Oct. 29, 2012, at her home.

She was born March 23, 1926, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Richard A. and Blanche R. Kelly McManus.

She was a 1943 graduate of Capital Catholic High School and attended Washburn University, both in Topeka.

Millie married Jack M. Rudd, DDS in May of 1975, in Derby. They were longtime Derby residents, where Jack had his dental practice. They moved to Pagosa Springs, Colo. in 1996, and to Hutchinson in 2004. Survivors include: her husband, Jack of the home; daughters, Kathleen A. Loehr of Hutchinson, Mary D. Fowler and husband Steve of Rose Hill, Peggy E. Clark and husband Brad of Wichita, Ann P. Loehr of Hutchinson, and Amy M. Hawthorne of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Morgan Clark and Regina Loehr; stepdaughters, Lori Page and husband Mike of Indiana, Sherri Newlin and husband Todd of Wichita; step grandchildren, Maggie, Ellie and Jacob Newlin, Allison, Cole and Rachel Page. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Rosary will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m., with Pastor Bob Dalke officiating. Both services will be held at the Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
