Mildred E. Zumalt's Obituary
Mildred E. "Millie" Zumalt, 96, died July 25, 2007, at the Hutchinson Hospital E.R.
She was born Aug. 27, 1910, in Idana, the daughter of James H. and Edith E. Bryan Puckett. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a sales clerk for W.T. Grant and retired from J.C. Penney's.
On July 25, 1927, she married Clifford J. Zumalt in Newton. He died Sept. 20, 1998.
Survivors include: a son, John R., Wichita; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Zumalt; two brothers, Carl and Graydon Puckett; a sister, Eunice Zumalt; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be on Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Memorials may be sent to the Good Samaritan Center, in care of the funeral home.
