Millie L. Davis, 86, died Aug. 17, 2016, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Hutchinson, to Harold and Eva (Duvall) Smalley.

Millie graduated from Attica High School. She was a homemaker and member of South Hutchinson United Methodist Church. Millie enjoyed reading, puzzles, and watching soap operas.

On June 6, 1948, she married Harvey L. Davis in Attica. He died April 12, 1985. Survivors include: daughters, Kathy Gifford and husband Mark of McPherson, Connie Stewart and husband Ralph of Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Wallace, Willard and Henry Smalley; and sisters, Ruby Catlin and Ruth Tharp.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, 206 East Avenue E, South Hutchinson, with the Reverend Claire Gadberry officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
