Obituary

Mona Lisa "Pinky" White, 65, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 13, 1950, in Hutchinson, to Loren and Dixie (Elam) Snell.

Pinky was a baker for Dixie's Catering, a former member of the VFW Bob Campbell Post #1361 Auxiliary, and a member of the American Pool Association. She loved to bake and play pool.

She is survived by: two sons, Jamie White and Ron Taylor; brother, John Snell; sisters, Bobbie Rogers, Jody Levene, Anna Wilson; stepmother, Mary Smith; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a companion, Rod White. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Rhonda Snyder; two brothers, Loren C. Snell and Loren D. Snell; and her grandparents.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Harold Nelson presiding. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial gifts may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County or Special Olympics Kansas, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
