Myrtle M. Engle's Obituary
Myrtle M. "Mirt" Engle, 69, died Oct. 13, 2007, at her home in Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 11, 1938, in Shoal Creek, N.C., the daughter of Eskel and Ethel Early Self. She was a resident of Hutchinson since 1961. She was a homemaker.
She belonged to The Father's House.
On Dec. 30, 1989, she married Mike Engle in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Craig Milligan, Lancaster, Calif.; a daughter, Kathy Livingston, Hutchinson; three stepsons, Richard, Hutchinson, Michael, Columbus, Ohio, Kenneth, Fort Scott; a stepdaughter, Sharon, Hutchinson; a sister, Vivian Newell, Dupont, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Kenny "Duke" Snyder, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil and Billy Wayne Price; two brothers, Hobert and Willard Self; and two sisters, Mary Snyder and Ruby Payne.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, with Chaplain Randall Turner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the mortuary.
