Obituary

Nadine Margaret Power Yarbrough, 91, died Feb. 11, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 17, 1920, in Coffeyville, to Jonathan David and Lydia C. Satchel Power.

She was a Hutchinson resident since 1960. She and her husband owned and operated E & D Worm Farm and with their daughter Nancy, they had The Family Waterbed Center. She retired in 1990. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Goodtime Bingo Club and enjoyed playing Bunko.

On Sept. 6, 1939, she married Edward G. Yarbrough in Nowata, Okla. He died June 26, 1995. Survivors include: a son, David, Coffeyville; a daughter, Barbara Lynne Douglas, Hutchinson; a sister, Sarah "Babe" Saner, Coffeyville; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Calvin Cullison; a daughter, Nancy; and a sister, Iva Jean Ogden.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, in Restlawn Cemetery, Coffeyville, with Pastor Conn Davis officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
