Nancy JoAnn Albin, 67, died Feb. 26, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
She was born March 11, 1939, in Salina, the daughter of Paul Leslie and Genevieve Kathryn Wilvers Bell. In 1956, she graduated from Salina High School and attended Marymount College, Salina. A resident of Hutchinson since 1993, moving from Beloit, she was a homemaker and retired para-educator with Reno County Education Cooperative.
She belonged to Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, and was a Hutchinson Zoo volunteer.
On July 12, 1959, she married Pastor Robert LeRoy Albin in Salina. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Stephen P. and fiancee, Tonia Soldan, Salina; four daughters, JoAnn A. Jordan and husband, Dr. Jeff, Hays, Muriel J. Morris and husband, Randy, Salina, Sara J. Redetzke and husband, A.J., Manhattan, and Heather D. Albin and fiance, Jeremy Caudillo, Hutchinson; a brother, Paul L. Bell and wife, Barbara, Leawood; two sisters, Karen S. Levin and husband, Charles, Salina, and Pamela J. Strahan and husband, John, Topeka; two aunts, Margaret Hoeffner and Maurine DeWar, both of Salina; a family friend, David Pilcher, Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy C. Albin; and an infant sister, Mary Kathryn Bell.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Henry Hartman and the Rev. Michael P. Milliken presiding. Graveside service will at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Cemetery, New Cambria. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
