Nancy Merryman Brentlinger, 51, died March 23, 2009. She was born March 15, 1958, in New Orleans, the daughter of Raleigh Jack and Donna Lou Savage Merryman.

She was a 1976 graduate of Robert Service High School, Anchorage, Alaska, and attended Hutchinson Community College. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson.

On June 7, 1980, she married Michael L. Brentlinger in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: son, Brian, Hutchinson; parents, Harold and Donna Walters, Hutchinson; brother, David Walters and wife Debbie, Carmel, Ind.; sisters, Cynthia Keller and husband Scott, Westfield, Ind., and Diane Merryman, Hutchinson; and sisters-in-law, Debra Walters, Plainfield, Ind., Karen Reade and husband Ron, Hutchinson, and Debbie Suttles and husband Dan, Clearwater.

She was preceded in death by her father, a son, Bradley, and a brother, Michael Walters.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29 at Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Dr. Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Bradley Brentlinger Scholarship Memorial at Sterling High School, in care of the mortuary.
