Nancy J. Prieb, 62, passed away Feb. 9, 2015, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born March 9, 1952, in Marysville, to Gordon and Marian (Burnett) Prieb.

She was an elementary special education teacher in the Hutchinson public school system for many years before her retirement in May 2008. Nancy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: her sister, Kathy White and husband John of Bentley; nephew, Ryan White of Hays; aunts, Joyce Procter of Webster, SD, Jan Burnett of Topeka; and her beloved cat, Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenny Prieb.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, 11th and Washington, Hutchinson, with Pastor Cheryl Hoops presiding. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
