Obituary

Nancy Schissler, 59, died Nov. 17, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born July 5, 1948, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Bill and Oma Smith Rayl Decker. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was a former cook for Heart Ministries, Victory Village.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

On April 8, 1967, she married Dwight Schissler in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include; a daughter, Karen Black, Spring, Texas; two brothers, Robert Rayl, Bolivar, Tenn., and Richard Rayl, Wichita; a sister, Marilyn Tarvin, Fort Myers, Fla.; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Kathleen Schissler, and two brothers, Jerry Rayl and Kenneth Rayl.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be held at a later date in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
