Nellie Irene Miller, 88, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born February 12, 1921, to Rueben B. and Lizzie Hershberger Miller at Middlebury, Indiana. She was a homemaker.

She married Edwin L. Miller April 25, 1946, in Middlebury, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include: sons, Marlin and Trudy, Hutchinson, Omar and Elsie, Harrison, Arkansas, Orville and Mary Jane, Hutchinson, and Howard, Hutchinson; daughters, Valetta and Vernon Yoder, Plain City, Ohio, and Leanna and Rod Chrystie, Hutchinson. Also surviving is one sister, Orpha and Harry Weirich, Middlebury, Indiana; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, Raymond and Wilbur, infant daughter, Loretta, sister, Mary LuDean Pelfrey, infant brother, Joseph, and four infant grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Center AM Church, 7611 West Morgan Avenue, Hutchinson, with Ronald Miller, LaVerne Miller and David Yoder presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be in the West Center Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Mennonite Manor Endowment Fund in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
