Neva Crotts, 97, passed away September 21, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society, Hutchinson Village, KS. She was born January 1, 1927, to Russell and Gertie Showalter.

She graduated from Castleton High School. She married Herbert Crotts in 1947. He passed away in 2004 They were married 57 years.

She was a resident of South Hutchinson for 71 years. She was a homemaker, a cook at South Hutchinson Grade School, and a bookkeeper for King Brothers Oil Co.

Survivors are daughter Linda Hiebert of Hutchinson; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons; Norman and Gene Crotts; and five brothers and two sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Partridge Cemetery. Friends may call 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Elliott Mortuary.
