Nicholas James "Nick" Craig, 21, passed away Dec. 18, 2013, in Wichita. He was born Dec. 27, 1991, in Hutchinson, to Matthew James and Jennifer Jo (Willems) Craig.

He graduated from Haven High School in 2012 and was currently attending Hutchinson Community College, studying to be a surgical tech. Survivors include: mother, Jennifer Craig; stepdad, Jeff Orr and two sisters, Allie and Hannah Orr, all of Hutchinson; fiancee, Aley DuRant-Fisher of Wichita; grandparents, Dennis and Pat Willems of Hutchinson; father, Matt Craig and wife Joy, half-brother, Daniel Craig and half-sister, Abigail Craig, all of Danbury, Conn.; grandmother, Tere Nelson of Riverside, Calif.; great-grandfather, Russell Showalter of South Hutchinson; uncle, Brad Willems and wife Jacque; and cousins, Katelyn, Jake, and Claire, all of Oakley, Kan. Nick was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Blanche Showalter, John and Ruth Ann Willems, and grandfather, Randy Orr.

Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at North Inman Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at Journey Mennonite Church at South Hutchinson, with Pastors Howard Wagler and Eric Miller officiating. The family requests casual dress. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
