Nicholas J. "Nick" Sims, 44, died May 6, 2024, at his home. He was born September 24, 1979, in Hutchinson, to Greig A. and Suzanne (Richey) Sims.

Nick completed his IEC Electrician Apprenticeship Program and became a master electrician. He enjoyed barbequing, cooking, hunting and scuba diving. Nick loved riding on his motorcycle and had a passion for dirt bikes and motorcycles.

He married Tamara J. Davis, together they had three children, they later divorced.

Nick is survived by: children, Autumn Rayne Sims of Hutchinson, and Gabriel Sims of Abbyville; parents, Greig and Suzanne Sims or Hutchinson; brother, Allen Sims of Marquette.

He was preceded in death by: his son, Levi J. Sims

Graveside service will by 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Abbyville Cemetery.
